CRASH, BOOM, BANG... Beatercrosssm Gets Down, Dirty and On
The summer season started with a bang… or should we say crunch as round one action of the NOS Energy Drink BeaterCross series kicked off with plenty of bumping, grinding, and barrel rolls as competitors tamed the new track. With live music, tasty food, cold brew, and the NOS Energy Drink gaming zone for the kids, some of the best days of summer are happening at ERX Motor Park in Elk River.
If you missed round one, you can make amends next Thursday, June 14, as Beater-X goes green for round two action at our new 6:00pm start time. Watch compact cars, trucks, side-by-side all terrain vehicles, and our new half-ton truck class battle door to door on a motocross style dirt track at the Midwest’s fastest growing and most popular motorsports facility – ERX Motor Park.
Gates will open to drivers and crew at 3:00pm and racing starts at 6:00pm. Tickets are just $10 for adults, with kids 12 and under free. Get all the details on our Beatercross page and make plans to join us next Thursday night!

Mark the Dates for TerraCross
Always looking to bring something new into the ERX fold, track owners Chris Carlson and Todd Plaisted have teamed up with TerraCross promoter Joe Duncan, and will host the first national TerraCross event in North America this coming June 22 and 23 at ERX. A terrain race of epic proportions, TerraCross features ATVs and side-by-side vehicles on a motocross type track littered with nasty obstacles including tires, logs, boulders, mud pits, and more.
The ERX event will serve as a national qualifier for the TerraCross championships to be held in September during the SnoBarons Haydays World Championship Grass Drags and Swap Meet near North Branch, Minnesota. The action at ERX will also be broadcast on NBC Sports later this summer as part of a 5-episode series of the fast growing sport. Plus, after the National event concludes, a TerraCross class will become a regular Thursday night fixture during the summer Beater-X series. Need to know more?
