Longville, MN (March 6, 2019) – For the past two years, Levi LaVallee hosted an invitation only Tri 5 race (vintage) at his training facility in Longville, Minnesota. The Tri 5 race consists of 3 key factors; $500 dollar sled cost, 599CC or less, and High 5’s which equals one of the best experiences you can have!

With much buzz and interest in this event, LaVallee partnered up with Red Bull and ERX Motor Park to make this event open to the public… And on an added level of awesomeness, all registration proceeds from Tri 5 will be donated to Wings for Life, a not-for-profit research foundation whose mission is to find a cure for spinal cord injury. The organization funds world-class scientific research and clinical trials around the globe aimed at healing the injured spinal cord. To learn more or donate beyond the registration fee, visit www.wingsforlife.com/us/

Levi will be racing in all 3 of the races, so come out to spin some laps with 13 time X Games Medalist!

What is KP day? That’s a great question.  I know its something now.

Factory Polaris rider Kyle Pallin out of Team LaVallee had the idea of renting out ERX Motor Park for the day to build the biggest booters, whoops and transfers, just because he could. Kyle invited his teammates and some fellow riders out for a day of fun and perhaps some shenanigans.

When I arrived Kyle was already hard at work riding in the groomer with Darick Kvein, the ERX Motor Park track builder, creating some fun features for the day.

As everyone arrived one by one, you would see a car stop in the middle of the road and everyone in the chalet would laugh because they knew they were dumbfounded by the road gap jump. Half of the fun was to see everybody’s reaction. It didn’t take long for the guys to suit up and go send-it!

Kyle  said he’s thought of hitting the road gap at ERX for a long time now and was pumped to be the first one to do it. The rest of guys immediately followed him, gapping the road. Keep in mind this gap was right about 125’ to the sweet spot of the landing.

It was entertaining from my perspective to see everybody’s reaction going from a little nervous to, “who cares, let’s roll!” Most all the guys were doing some tricks which they had never done before. I think KP Day really gave them the opportunity to let loose and have some fun. Racing is mentally and physically demanding, so it was impressive to see racers out there letting loose without the rigid rules or regulations the sport can bring .

Everyone agreed Kp Day was one of the best days and joked how it will have to be an annual event.

The Future of the Sport Looks Bright as FXR and ERX Host Clinic for Up-and-Coming Snocross Riders

Elk River, Minn. January 4, 2019More than 40 youth snocross riders and over 15 of today’s most respected and fastest professional racers came together for the FXR Learn 2 Ride Clinic at ERX Motor Park in Elk River, Minnesota during the 2018 holiday break. The FXR clinic plays an instrumental role in the future of snowmobile racing and the sport in general as students learn how to become better racers on and off the track from their peers and heroes.

This year marked the 10th anniversary of the clinic, and many of the coaches were former students of the program illustrating the event’s ongoing success. This year’s coaches included current national racers Kyle Pallin, Evan Daudt, Ryley Bester and Taven Woodie.

“Another great clinic,” said FXR Marketing and Special Projects Manager Doug Rust. “FXR is blessed to be working with such great athletes who are willing to take time out of their schedules during the holidays to give back to this sport. It’s incredibly rewarding experience and we’re honored to be a part of it.”

The FXR Learn 2 Ride Clinic features a day dedicated to 120/200 riders and another for older riders on full-size snowmobiles. Participants are given one-on-one coaching to further refine their skills for different aspects of the track including cornering, jumps and starts. In addition, the coaches and other industry experts share tips and lessons on sportsmanship, promotion, and set-up during brief classroom sessions.

“It (the clinic) was awesome,” said Shawn Peterson, who had two children participating. “We loved how many pro riders were there…they gave great coaching and it was very well organized.”

The clinic also plays an important role ensuring the future vitality of the sport. A message echoed by ERX Motor Park co-owner Chris Carlson.

“FXR gets it,” said Carlson. “They truly care about the future of this sport and its evident by the amount of time and resources they invest into events like this. Their vision and the passion of their riders is what makes the FXR Learn 2 Ride Clinic work.”

FXR and ERX Motor Park would like to give special thanks to all of the coaches who volunteered their time during the clinic: Tausha Lange, Cierra Beckerleg, Taven Woodie, Kaden Woodie, Beau Tibbetts, Johan Lidman, Nisse Kjellström, Brittani Robinson, MaKenna Klieman, Taylor Cole, Andrew Lindholm, Andrew Carlson, Evan Daudt, Kyle Pallin, Dylan Jansen and Ryley Bester.
